National Championships to be in Vermont 2007/2008!

USA Cycling has announced that the MTB National Championships will be held at Mt Snow Resort in beautiful Vermont next year. This is kind of a bummer for those of us in California but this is great new for racers in the Northeast. With the tremendously strong mountain biking community in that region they truly deserve this event. As you have seen from my previous post I am a huge fan of this venue and east coast riding in general. So I think they will do this event right. Went to last years event at Mammoth and competing at Sonoma this year so will look forward to racing for the championship on my home turf next year.

Norba at Mt Snow this weekend

Norba is going to be at Mt Snow this weekend. For any of you that haven't been this is, in my opinion, the best east coast race there is. I raced DH and XC at this venue for four years and loved it. True northeast super technical courses.

If you have the chance check it out, it's worth the drive and camping is like $25 for the entire weekend. Can't make it myself since I live in California now. Here is a video to get you in the mood.
